Use of the STARscanner LASER DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM a 3-D surface scanner allows the practitioner to eliminate the casting process and obtain a scan of the infant's head within 2 seconds.

The certified practitioner will also use the scanner technology to document changes of head shape over time and modify the custom helmet as needed.
